Kyle D. McIntyre


Kyle is originally from the Philadelphia area and moved to Maryland in 2012. He
graduated from Arcadia University with a B.A. in Biology (2009) and a Doctorate of
Physical Therapy (2012). Since graduating, Kyle has completed continuing education
in: Functional Manual Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, Movement
Restoration, Neuroscience Pain Education, Nervous System Mobilization, Spinal
Mobilization and Manipulation, and Movement System Syndromes. In 2016, he
completed the Orthopedic Residency through the Functional Manual Therapy
Foundation. In the same year, Kyle completed his Functional Manual Therapy
Certification (CFMT), through the Institute of Physical Art, with the highest level of

Following his certification, he joined the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) as a faculty
member. He is currently an instructor for the IPA's Dynamic Foot and Ankle and
Functional Gait courses. Kyle returned to CIMT in August, 2019, after spending 14
months in Colorado, completing a rigorous Fellowship program through the Functional
Manual Therapy Foundation. Kyle is now one of 36 therapists worldwide to achieve
the designation of Fellow of Functional Manual Therapy. Kyle is also awaiting
recognition as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical

Kyle is passionate about serving others, and continues to advance his physical therapy
knowledge. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and boating with his dog, Norman and
wife, Kaitlyn.
